Getting Started with Discord Admin

You just added the Loyalteez bot to your server. Here's what to do in the first 30 minutes to get your loyalty program running.

First 5 Minutes: Basic Setup​

1. Get Your Security Key​

  1. Go to Partner Portal → Settings → Security
  2. Click the copy icon next to your Security Key
  3. Copy the entire key (it's a long hex string)

2. Connect Your Server​

Run this command (replace with your Brand ID and Security Key):

/setup connect brand_id:0xYOUR_BRAND_ADDRESS security_key:YOUR_SECURITY_KEY

Where to find your Brand ID: Partner Portal → Settings → Account
Where to find your Security Key: Partner Portal → Settings → Security

3. Verify It Worked​

Run the diagnostic:

/test all

You should see all green checkmarks! ✅

4. Try Your First Reward​

Test the daily check-in:

/daily

Next 10 Minutes: Configure Events​

View Current Events​

/config events

This shows all your reward events with their amounts and cooldowns.

Adjust Reward Amounts​

Too much? Too little? Change it:

/config events action:edit name:daily_checkin reward:25
/config events action:edit name:gm_checkin reward:50

Enable/Disable Events​

Don't want GM rewards? Disable them:

/config events action:toggle name:gm_checkin enabled:false

Next 10 Minutes: Set Up Admin Access​

Configure Admin Roles​

Give your moderators access:

/config admin-roles role:@Moderator level:event_manager
/config admin-roles role:@Admin level:full_admin

Permission Levels:

  • viewer - View stats only
  • perk_manager - Manage perks
  • event_manager - Create events and drops
  • full_admin - Everything

Set Up Admin Notifications​

Get notified of all rewards in a private channel:

/config admin-channel channel:#admin-logs

Last 5 Minutes: Test with Your Team​

Enable Test Mode​

Test without giving real rewards:

/config test-mode enable:true role:@Testers

Run Through Commands​

Have your team try:

  • /daily - Daily check-in
  • /balance - Check their balance
  • /streak - View streak status
  • /leaderboard - See rankings

Disable Test Mode When Ready​

/config test-mode enable:false

You're Live! 🎉​

Your members can now:

  • Claim daily rewards with /daily
  • Check balances with /balance
  • View streaks with /streak
  • Browse perks with /perks
  • Earn naturally by saying "gm" and "gn"
