Admin Access
Who Can Use Admin Commands?
Any Telegram user with administrator rights in the group can use:
/config/setup/reward
Telegram handles permission checks natively - no additional configuration needed.
Checking Admin Status
The bot automatically validates admin status for each command. Non-admins receive:
⚠️ This command requires administrator permissions.
Event Storage
All events are stored in the monitoring_rules Supabase table - the same table Discord uses. This means:
- Events are shared across platforms
- Changes sync with Partner Portal
- Configuration is centralized
Best Practices
Start with Defaults
The default events are a good starting point. Run your program for a week before adjusting.
Adjust Based on Data
Use /leaderboard and Partner Portal analytics to understand engagement before changing rewards.
Keep It Simple
Telegram groups work best with straightforward reward structures:
- Daily check-in
- GM/GN rewards
- Manual rewards for special contributions
